As many of you know last night the Business Club volunteered for the SOU Annual Scholarship Phonathon.We dialed 329 people and spoke to 101! In just one night the Business club secured $815 for scholarships! We received a very nice thank you from Chava Florendo at the SOU Foundation! Remember they are doing this for the next week so if you have free time head over to the Plunkett Center and volunteer to help raise scholarship funds!

Spring Term is upon us. Our opening book sale will begin on April 2. You may sign up Here. Remember to sign up for your Relay spot Here. First Spring General Meeting will be on April 12 at 4 pm in Central. Keep an eye out for the Spring Calender. We also have a new Facebook page located Here. The Business Club Holiday Dinner at the McCall House in Ashland was lots of fun and a rousing success. A lot of members came and brought wonderful food. Donna made a delicious ham and ASA provided soda. ASA and Net Impact were there and helped to round out a very lovely and warm evening. Thank you to all that came.

It’s that time again! Book Sale Time! We will need to man the table between the hours of 1130-330 on 12/5-12/8! (Finals Week) The time slots are arranged in hour shifts and I would like 2 persons per shift if possible. This is an excellent opportunity to be active in a club activity. The Book Sale allows us not only to raise a little bit of funds for the club, but to also help out fellow business students with the cost of textbooks. The link to sign up is Here!

Donna has set up the holiday dinner for Monday the 28th of November at the McCall House in Ashland.
The dinner is from 5pm to 9pm. Donna is kind enough to provide Ham and sodas, and the rest is pot luck.

Thursday November 17th at 4pm we will be having a Movie/Soup Night. The evening will begin
in CE 130 for soup and then we will move to the Presentation Room in Central for our Movie.
Movie will be voted on that night, so if you have a movie you would like to watch please bring it.

I hope fall term is progressing well for everyone. The business tour went off
pretty well and KOBI was fun and informative. I hope to get pictures up soon
for everyone to enjoy. Currently the Carmel Apple and Popcorn Ball Sale
is going on in the SU by the bathrooms, TELL YOUR FRIENDS!
Fun Night at Roxy Lanes in Medford will be this Friday the 28th at 5pm. $3.75 per
person, includes shoes and one game. I reserved 4 lanes and there will be pizza!
Come on out and socialize with the club.
We have filled the marketing position with a great team of people. I will update
the information section as soon as I find the time.
